    Safe way to pay for online accountThis card is worthwhile mainly if you do not wish to use your credit card on the NET and have one less location storing your financial information. I purchase this when Amazon has it on sale or at least at a price that would be less than the 3-month recurring charge you can purchase direct. And now that you can purchase the card and receive free shipping it usually is able to meet my criteria.This prepaid card at the current price allows you to play the game cheaper than if you pay month-to-month or using the three months recurring plan by using a credit card with Blizzard. For me the added security of not having to give your credit card info for your subscription is a great bonus and this is perfect for anyone who wants to purchase a gift of playing time for anyone they know that plays the game.4Time is money, friend!Arrived fast, didn't use it for a couple months until patch 6.2 came out and the code on the card worked like a charm. Used one and giving the rest for Christmas presents.As for the game, it's not perfect but haven't found a better one yet.EDIT: Update January, 2015. Last year I had two credit cards compromised. Both times fraudulent charges appeared within a few days after I had purchased the expansion or renewed a subscription by entering credit card info at their website. I have several other credit cards I use all the time at other websites and none of them have been compromised, only the ones I used for WoW. Therefore I will no longer give Blizzard my credit card info. I am not saying Blizzard's site was breached (they denied it of course), I am just giving the fact that MY cards were breached, just after I had used their website, on two occasions. Might be coincidence, but I'm not going to risk a third event.The credit cards I have with Amazon have never been compromised. Therefore from now on I will buy time cards instead of setting up the ongoing subscription, it appears to be safer.5There is a difference between a "game" and a "game card"As I was reading some of the lower reviews for this product, I was more than a little confused. I just recently realized that these game cards were available for purchase on Amazon. Since I am both an Amazon and a WoW addict, this works out great for me. Now perhaps at one time Amazon was charging a ridiculous price for this game card, but at the moment I'm typing this, it amounts to less than buying a card at the store, or paying Blizzard per month directly. At the moment, the Amazon price is only $.26 less than buying it at the store, but if you subtract the shipping (free, for items over $25, which this is) and tax, which is not charged, this is still the better deal. I would also like to point out that there is a difference between the game and the time card that allows you to play the game. I just used one when doing recruit a friend and went on the other account to type this in and got my free month plus a mount. It is very easy for some people who don't want to use their CC or paypal over the internet and just use direct payments like these cards to play WoW. I use paypal and sometimes these cards but my friends use these cards and they have always worked for them. I never once have gotten a card that has been used. I have ordered from Amazon and Newegg and Gamestop and never once a problem.Overall I am not going to go into so much detail on why these are so helpful but what I can say is they are excellent. They do exactly what they are meant to do. Give you 60 days of game time for World of Warcraft.5Missing cardI've been buying these cards for years as an alternative to auto-renewal or putting my credit card info out there. If you have prime it's the same price, and two days is nothing if you order ahead. I've never had an issue, until the last one I bought was missing the game-time card. The package was sealed, the box was sealed, but no card. It had the card with the free trial code (which is completely useless and insane since you can try it for free without a code) but the 60 day card was missing. I'll be honest, I thought people claiming they didn't get the card in the box were fibbing the first time I read reviews, before I bought this for the first time several years ago. Sorry. I believe you now! I've probably bought 20+ of these by now, so 1 out of 20 isn't terrible, but it shouldn't happen at all.2No delay to play.I enjoy playing WOW but if I purchase time through their network it takes up to 3 days before I have access. When I purchase time card through Amazon, I input the data and have access within minutes.5
