Quality of the lace. Strength to hold up to the tensioning of the stiches.I used a heavy needle and threaded just line sewing thread.i.e.2 laces per stich to repair a very old heavy leather (almost 3/16" thick) purse that had some wider lacing (1/4" wide) but thin that was rotting after 30yrs????. Any way I spent 2 days of hours cross stitching the bags sides and front together and trying carefully lay the 2 lines of lacing somewhat parallel and flat for each lay of a stich. Did not succeed 100% but the bag is now together and very strong again. I am using it for chainsaw tools and extra chains for my saw when I have to go out in the woods. pickyour width and thickness carefully. This did the job for me!!!!1Not that heavy-duty, but niceI bought these to make lanyards for various garden tools. The lace cuts easily with a utility knife and holds a good knot. It's decent quality suede although a little on the thinner side and I'm not sure how well it will hold up to use. If you have more heavy-duty needs you may want to look elsewhere.4Doesn't bleedGreat leather strap for necklaces...5Too Thin And Weak To Be Of Any UseWhile this may work decoratively, don't expect it to hold any amount of tension or weight. It's too light duty and thin to be of any use. I was trying to make a leather pouch with a drawstring and it broke when I attempted to pull the drawstring closed. I noticed at this point that it appears to be composed of two even thinner pieces of leather glued together. Also it should be noted that they do not accept returns, something that I failed to see when I ordered it. No idea what I'm going to do with the rest of the spool. I might just throw it away. If it can't hold the small amount of tension required to close a drawstring on a leather pouch then I doubt I'll have any use for it.1Good quality leather lace for craft workThis leather lace is perfect for any craft work. I use it to wrap handles and grip points on projects around the house. I need a lace that is evenly cut and sturdy and this works very well.5Quality inconsistent, breaks under slight tensionInconsistent quality. Last week I ordered a spool and the entire spool was great, ordered two more this week and they're both weak and break with slight tension. Don't know what's happened to this company but it's gone downhill sustaintially over the past few years.1Great for clothes and costumes!I bought this to accent a costume I was making but ended up using it for so many other things. From being a belt used to tie something around my waist, to tie socks up, and as a pretty accent around a hat, I am sure I can find more uses for this lace. It is very sturdy, which I like because I know it won't break if I use it to support something heavy. Would definitely buy more from this seller if I run out!5The quality of the leather is good, but I noticed that the strip is not ...The quality of the leather is good, but I noticed that the strip is not very uniform in width. There were fat/skinny areas in the spool. It served my purpose to wrap a carved walking stick handle, however.4This is SUPER for using with the Minnetonka moccasinsThis is SUPER for using with the Minnetonka moccasins..perfect fit! Just cut to length! Had a ongoing issue with the suede laces that not only came with but even the replacements Minnetonka provided for me for daughter's moccasins. Would continuously break...but once I found this, bought it and tried it..not a single problem. Better quality than the Minnetonka laces and same size for laces. Highly recommend!!!5Suede LaceObtained to braid and use the resultant rope as a leash for my chiweenie puppy. Works even better than expected. With the leftover lace, braided a "pull" for my attic door. Still have enough left to make several key chains. Could not be more pleased.5
